Oak Creek Farm Wedding | Amy & Anthony

Amy and Anthony’s Oak Creek Farm wedding in Unionville, Virginia was about second chances, blended families, and quiet moments that meant everything. From emotional vows beneath the willow tree to portraits with the farm’s cows and alpacas, their day felt warm, personal, and completely real.

Getting Ready at Oak Creek Farm

Amy spent the morning in the cozy bridal cabin at Oak Creek Farm, surrounded by her kids and closest friends. Her dress hung by the window while laughter drifted through the wooden walls, the kind of calm start that lets a wedding day breathe.

Anthony got ready nearby, adjusting his cufflinks and reading the engraved pocket watch Amy had given him. The message on the back read, “I will love you until the end of time.” It set the tone for everything that followed.

A First Touch Before the Ceremony

Before the ceremony at Oak Creek Farm, Amy and Anthony shared a quiet first touch outside the cabin. With a corner wall between them, they held hands and exchanged words they’d been saving for months.

When Amy finally walked down the aisle, Anthony’s face said everything. Joy, nerves, gratitude. Moments like that are why wedding films matter. They let you relive the feeling, not just the timeline.

A Willow Tree Ceremony at Oak Creek Farm

The ceremony space at Oak Creek Farm is one of the most peaceful I’ve filmed. Guests walked through rustic doors into a clearing beneath a sprawling willow tree, with rolling fields stretching out behind them.

Amy and Anthony performed a knot-tying ritual during the ceremony, braiding ropes together to symbolize their new family. With their children close by and the breeze moving through the trees, the whole scene felt honest and grounded.

Portraits With Cows, Alpacas, and Sunset Fields

One thing Amy told me early on was that she wanted portraits with the animals at Oak Creek Farm. So after their first dance, we walked out to the pasture for a few quiet minutes together.

Amy laughed as the cows wandered over, Anthony smiling beside her while the sunset hit the fields just right. It was playful, personal, and completely them.

A Soul Train Tunnel Inside Oak Creek Farm’s Barn

Later in the evening, the barn at Oak Creek Farm turned into a full dance floor celebration. Guests lined up for a Soul Train tunnel, clapping and cheering while Amy and Anthony danced through the center laughing.

Those unscripted moments are what make a wedding film come alive. The small glances. The big laughs. The energy you can’t fake.
